Good Survey last edited 09/02/04. I am a silly internet survey addict... this is one of the better ones I've found, and had some really good questions. I have it here as a sort of "get to know me" type thing.
The Lovely Melanantho finished 12/06/03. This was written for my semester project in my Classical Mythology course during my first semester at college. It was one of the top three stories (out of 35 or so) in my class, so I had to read it aloud on the last day... The myths were voted on, and unfortunately mine came in a very solid 3rd place (out of three, remember), but it still got me a 5-dollar Borders gift card!
Essay on Imagination finished 10/30/03. This is an essay I wrote for the "Identies" section of my Liberal Studies: Human Dilemmas class during my first semester at college. I was supposed to explain/analyze/explore the role of imagination in identity. The general idea I ran with is that imagination is so overwhelmingly variable and indescribable that it may ultimately be what separates each individual person from the next. Oh and by the way, I quoted the founders of Blue Man Group in this one! Hahahahah...
Imagery 06/19/01. A relatively short blurb in poetic style--an abstract view on newfound love...
Framed sometime during fall 2001. This was originally written for my high school junior English class. I believe the assignment was to write a brief passage using heavy description and emphasis on appealing to the senses to set the scenery and the mood. This passage describes the time my then-boyfriend, Matt, and I sat on a dock at Mystic Seaport (in Connecticut).
