Cats: Penelope

Penelope is actually Jason's cat. He adopted her when she was about a year old (and named Larry, haha!) when he was living in Somerville (just outside of Boston). However, he left Penny with us when he went to Europe for a few months, and after that moved to the west coast (California, presently). So, for an indefinite time, we're keeping her. She mostly lives in the cellar because she doesn't get along with Emma. After a long haul, she and Domino seem to be fine, even playing together. She hangs out upstairs for long periods of time now, so she's not completely imprisoned down there. But we still can't let her stay up while we aren't around, or overnight, because there is the occasional, nasty-sounding cat squabble. But Penny is really amusing! She really interacts with people... you can play hide and seek, and that sort of thing. Who knows, maybe Jason will never take her back. Hehe. Oh, and she's bigger than Domino, and huskier too! It's quite funny.
