Cats: Max, Tish, and Sammy

Max and Tish, as kittens, were given to my parents as a gift. The two siamese are brother and sister, respectively. They were both really sweet and total lap-cats, though like most Siamese, had awful wailing meows. Hehe. Both Max, the darker one (there is only one picture of him besides the one on the main Cats page), and Tish lived to be very old for cats: Max was 15 and Tish was 17. Sometime after Max died, we found a stray in our garage--Sammy. He was had a very "take-care-of-himself" attitude and remained an outdoor cat even after we "adopted" him. He was always bringing home mice and birds and even snakes. (Yay.) While we had Sammy, Tish died of old age. Sometime after that, Sammy was tragically hit by the school bus. What was really sad about it is that he was getting more comfortable with staying in the house more, and becoming a lovable lap-cat (and putting up with our silliness, as you'll see in a couple pictures here). After we lost Sammy, there was a time where we didn't have any cats--the only time in my life.

Tish in her later years

He must be thinking, 'what are these ridiculous humans doing to me now...' I love the look on his face.

now this is kind of a cute picture... Tish was very good about putting up with a rebel like Sam.

In fact, the two little buggers were quite affectionate.

Sam would fall asleep like this, and being the silly kids that we are, we would cover him in toys and take pictures. I wonder if he even noticed.

One of Sam's first days at our house--his name was still 'Kitty' when we took this picture

And finally, here is Max. yay!
