Another go-round with abstract Blue Man Group art...
Boring technical stuff! Oh yay!
When I went to see BMG's Complex tour in November 2003, I decided to make an artwork for each of the four guys who played the Blue Men--however, I wanted to base the pieces on the Blue Man in general, so I decided to go with abstract art (with some personalized "extras" or connections). In creating the pieces, I re-discovered how fun this style of art is for me... as a result, this section is like a re-birth of my older BMG art section, only more advanced and involved. I also include explanations for these artworks, as they are likely to have meaning behind them (instead of simply "looking cool"). Some are dedicated to specific blue men or other people, but this isn't a strict rule. The idea is to ultimately connect these artworks with deeper ideas about Blue Man Group and their concepts (as well as my own thoughts about them).
To create these images, I use Adobe 7.0 and its various filters, paint options, coloring techniques, and sizing.
