Matt's Band Trip to BMG Boston
"Tubes," Charles Playhouse, 11-17-01.

I just can't seem to get enough of this show. One Saturday, Matt (Hatter) was going to go to Boston for the day and see the show with a pretty large group of his friends and dad's friends and such. So he invited me, and I got the group discount too (whee!). I brought along my hyper-cool friend, Jen, who had gone on OUR school's band trip to BMG Boston back in March 2001. We all had a great time, needless to say. I got a few good pictures as well!

Here is Kalen, who played the Phil part. I knew his name from the last show I went to, which happened to be the big Boston fan meet (the show for which he posted to the board and told us who/where he'd be). So, since I "knew" him from that prior experience, this time I decided to surprise him a bit--when I walked up to him, I said "Hi, Kalen!" Heh, the look on his face was classic. But in good time I explained why I knew his name and such. So he's not, you know, afraid of me or anything. ;) So anyways, neat picture hmm?

Jen (on the left) and I are always way too enthusiastic about getting pictures of and with the blue men. She took a bunch too--we probably have like 10 of Kalen all together. Poor guy. ;) And speaking of blue men in general... The other two guys that performed that day were Gideon (Matt part) and Eric (Chris part), but sadly we were unable to see them after the show. Because we were siting in the front, it look a long while for us to get down to the lobby, so only Kalen was left when we got there. And by the way, the only reason I know the other guys' names is because I was nosy and asked Kalen. Hehe.

Matt got down a little later because he stayed upstairs to get a spin-art. Unfortunately not Kalen's (from the show we saw), which was sold a few people in line before Matt. But he did make it down in time to say hi to Kalen, who we were definitely hogging. Oops.

We just HAD to get a picture of Neil with the blue man. ;) He's one of Matt's friends, and he's just crazy and hilarious. We (especially Jen) loved Neil. *lol*
