First Annual Boston Summer Fan Meet

Wheehah! Boston fan meet number 2! Unless I can't count! Haha. Anywho, we all got together for a 10:00 Friday show. Whee, Blue Man Group! It's wicked fun to hang with a group of BMG fans, I tell ya. We all met up a couple hours before the show to eat and socialize and all that good stuff. At the theater and after the show, everyone got all camera happy, my dad included. Heh.

OK, I'm going to ID everyone and hopefully not confuse you. On the left is hannah, then Greg (27), and David (lux) in front. The guy in the back in the white shirt is Matt (Hatter) and I'm next to him in the leather jacket. Next to me is Sharon(minnie), her daughter, Jessica, next to her, and then her son, Freddy, and in front is her godson, Alex. Got that? Good. Now you can STOP ASKING me to name everyone in the pictures. =P

Ahah! THERE'S Sceavis! He's the guy in blue, and the other girl on the left is his friend, Amy. Ahhh, the gang's all there. Except my dad, he should be in there too, he's a blue man fan and he knows it. Though he "prefer[s] to stay in the closet," haha.

Final group picture... By this time we're all like that Barbie at the end of Toy Story 2 that's all like "can I stop smiling now? My lips are killing me!" Heh. It was funny though, we all stood in a big group and like 5 different cameras were going off; it was one of those things that you don't know where to look and you get all panicky, ahh! OK, maybe not panicky. Or, on the other hand, maybe that's just me.

I love my camera, don't you? Heh, this is the second time it's made a picture all weird. But look, you can see like 3 different frames of motion there. Lux's arm is transparent! And he has two more in front! AHHH!!

Whee, the Charles Playhouse! That's my dad being all shutter-happy. Haha. But it's still not a bad picture, eh?

There's Sceavis and Amy! Yeehaw! And by the way, it's pronounced "Ski-viss," in case you were wondering. Rhymes with Beavis.

OK, now for the after-show pictures. First off, this is Kalen, the blue man who posted on the board saying he'd be the one in the middle at the fan meet. Very nice, very cool. He looks and acts so much like Chris Wink! When he busted out dancing at one point, I totally cracked up, because he looked like the drumbone commercial (Pentium 4 ads) or something, haha. Oh, and by the way, that thing I'm wearing that looks like an old English scarf thing, that's a flower I made out of tissues before the show--because I felt like it, ok?

Here's Kalen again, with Matt this time, so now I look like a midget. So um, yeah. I don't think I had anything else to say about this picture... So I'll shut up so you can move to the next caption.

I didn't know this guy's name (ah, the horror!) but bluemanager so nicely informed us that this is Steve. He's from NYC, but I suppose he was subbing in Boston for this particular show/month/whatever. But he's cute... I played the "tap on the opposite shoulder" trick on him, and he fell for it, in perfect blue man character. Heh, I couldn't help it. No one was paying attention to him at the moment, so I went up and bugged him. But I find it amusing that this guy has hot pink paint all over him. He's a messy boy, that one. If you hadn't guessed, he played the Phil part.

Here I am with Matt. The Matt part, and his name is Matt, too. I got minnie to ask him his name before the show (we were there when the earlier show got out, just waiting around and such), since she and her kids were talking with him and taking pictures already anyways! Heh. Cool guy though. Aren't all blue men? Heh.
